Furesø under a red sky

I took the chance for a quick overnighter along the shores of Furesø, (a large lake close to Copenhagen). Setting off late it was soon dark as I set up the Notch.

In the morning the sky was red and I was reminded of the old saying

Red sky at night shepherds delight

Red sky in the morning shepherds warning.

Fortunately I was home before the heavy snowfall arrived which dumped about 25 cm of wet snow, it had been an enjoyable wander.
